Street pastors were out in Falmouth for the first time on Saturday night and were immediately hard at work giving help and support to five partygoers.
Five pastors patrolled the town centre, from High Street to Events Square, and organisers were pleased with their first night’s work as they handed out flip flops to girls struggling in their high heels and sorted out taxis for people needing to get home.
Co-ordinator Sarah Gray said: “We had positive feedback from a lot of people through the street.
“We did help five vulnerable girls. We gave out flip flops because they didn’t have any shoes.”
