Camborne’s former Woolworths store has become a discount shop.
The building in Trelowarren Street has been leased to Poundstretcher Ltd.
The company has taken on a 15-year-old lease for £80,000 per year.
It is a large building split over two floors.
A spokesman for Pondstretcher Ltd said: “We are pleased to report our new store is trading well above expectations and our company are delighted to be occupying such a central location within Camborne.”
Peter Heather from Miller Commercial, which let the building, said there had been interest in the building from “a number of parties,” which led to it taking slightly longer than expected to reach an agreement.
