Outdoor gym coming to Helston

Anyone tired of exercising in a busy indoor gym will soon be able to get fit outside, while still using their favourite gym equipment.

The National Trust is opening an outdoor “green” gym on the Penrose Estate between Helston and Falmouth.

Five pieces of fitness equipment made from wood from within the estate are going to be made available for anyone to use, get fit and have some fun.

The first stage of the gym will be open from Easter on a section of footpath between Loe Bar and Helston – a particularly popular route with runners from the various villages and towns surrounding the estate.
