Police are investigating arson following a fire at the Old Brewery buildings in Redruth in the early hours of this morning.

The crews from Camborne and Redruth arrived shortly after 1am to find a pile of rubbish ablaze inside one of the derelict buildings, but had not spread to the building itself.

Wearing breathing equipment, they put out the flames using a hose.
