Truro College student dyes hair for Haiti

A Truro College student has raised money for victims of the Haiti Earthquake by dying her hair red and blue.

Heather Millar has raised of £100 with the stunt.

Gill Peters, access to inclusive learning tutor said: “Heather always puts her heart and soul into any activity she is involved with and her fundraising effort to help the people of Haiti has been outstanding.”

Heather is no stranger to fundraising and last year did a sponsored silence in aid of the charity Active 8, a Cornish charity providing residential trips for young people with a physical disability.

With her classmates, Heather has also been involved in a project called Goods4good, where her and her classmates collect products from businesses to give to charity shops.
