Over 150 girls have been displaying their acrobatic skills as part of Cornwalls biggest ever cheerleading competition
The event at Penryn College on Monday was organised by Rhea Upsher, who has been coaching in schools across the Penryn School Sport Partnership this year.
In a victory for the hosts the team from Penryn College took the top spot, with many of the girls across the competition competing for the first time.
Mrs Upsher said: "Its amazing the level of commitment these girls have given. This has been a real showcase for the potential talent in Cornwall, and I really look forward to establishing a cheerleading academy next year, to help to support these talented young people."
Pool School came a close second with Falmouth School taking third place, Richard Lander fourth, Penair fifth, Helston School sixth, Mullion School seventh and Redruth School in eighth place.
The coaching programme was funded by Penryn School Sport Partnership and Cornwall Sports Partnership.
