Falmouth School students have been presented with certificates for completing the Phoenix Project run by the town's firefighters.
Charlie Sparrow, Kieran Drew, Callum Bernard, Jacob Pounder, Ryan Chinn and David Pruem have completed a 12-month mentoring programme and a five day course designed to improve their self-confidence, communication skills and community spirit – and earning achievement awards called ASDAN certificates.
Project manager Tim Cocks said: “These young people from Falmouth School have shown great enthusiasm participating in all aspects of the programme and have worked extremely hard to succeed and gain their ASDAN certificate for improving their own learning and performance.”
