Police and volunteers have called a special inititaive that they ran during the Falmouth Oyster Festival a success.
Officers joined members from charity Stop It Now! and Volunteer Cornwall to give advice on how children can stay safe online in the light of the Michael Williams case, where the Penryn paedophile used social networking sites to groom his victims. They also gave help on preventing accidents in and around the home.
Organiser Sergeant Dave Aynsley said: "Plenty of people turned up and plenty of leaflets were handed out so it was a successful day. I would say it is definitely worth doing again."
See today's Packet for a full report on what was run at the stand.
