Next year, 2011, is set to be the 35th year for the Cornish Crabber brand at London International Boat Show, where they will be one of the few British sailboat builders exhibiting their traditionally styled Cornish Crabber range.

It is the 30th consecutive year that the Cornish Shrimper has been exhibited at the London Boat Show. First launched in June 1980, there are now well over 1000 Cornish Shrimpers on the water all over the world and the popularity of this nineteen foot weekender shows no sign of waning. A new Shrimper is being hand crafted in the Cornish Crabbers workshop every week.

Peter Thomas, Sales Manager for Cornish Crabbers says: “We are very proud to be embarking on our 35th year at the show and we are keen to celebrate 30 years of the Shrimper – our most popular boat! Cornish Crabbers have a wealth of experience to draw on and have always maintained the same high standard of quality in all of our boats.”

Whilst this is the 30th year at the show for the Cornish Shrimper, this is the first year at the show for the all new Cornish Crabber 26. This family sized cruising yacht, launched in August, was designed to complement the current range, whilst achieving full standing head room throughout and a shallow draft. Whilst Cornish Crabbers have a long heritage in boat building, the last two years have seen the company go from strength to strength. In the past 18 months, Cornish Crabbers have doubled their annual turnover, launched an innovative new product (the Cornish Crabber 26) and expanded their international distribution network to France, Japan and Australia as well as exporting world-wide.

With continued success and innovation, Cornish Crabbers are set to be exhibiting at many more boat shows to come.

Cornish Crabbers build all of their boats to the unique specification of the customer from their workshop in Rock, Cornwall.

Boats exhibited at London Boat Show 2011 include the Cornish Shrimper 19, the Cornish Crabber 22 and the Cornish Crabber 26.
