Neil Phillips from Sunnyside, Restronguet, Mylor, Falmouth was delighted to take top honours at the Wadebridge Primestock Show yesterday. He walked off with the Supreme Championship for this fine pair of homebred Texel cross Butchers’ Lambs and is pictured here with his daughter Merryn.
Neil also went home with the Champion lamb carcase prize, again for a homebred Texel cross, and a third prize in the egg competition.
Liz and Nigel Bunkum from Tregarrick, Merrymeet, Liskeard, won the Supreme Cattle Championship with their 18 month old homebred Limousin cross steer 'Razamatazz'. Liz and Nigel exhibited four animals at the show, taking a 1st prize with each.
