Three gardens in Ponsanooth are being opened to the public todsy to raise money for a community project and charity ShelterBox.

Kennall House, Cotwood and Round House are all in the Kennall area of the village and will open between noon and 5pm.

There will be teas and cakes, plant stalls, a local garden history display, a ShelterBox tent and the local brownie troop selling Easter items and plants.

Admission to the gardens is £3.50, with proceeds split between the rebuilding of the village hall and the Helston aid charity.

There will be parking available at the Stag Hunt Inn and the gardens will be signposted. Organisers have asked anyone parking nearer to the gardens to park sensibly.
