A Camborne primary school has been given a garden makeover thanks to students from Duchy College Rosewarne.
The horticulture students have donated a range of plants, herbs and vegetables that they have grown themselves, to help St John’s Catholic Primary School fill their raised beds and garden area.
The level one horticulture students grew the plants as part of an enterprise unit for their course.
The bedding plants have been used to brighten up the school raised beds and the vegetables are being grown to be used in the school canteen.
The school children will all get involved to maintain the newly planted garden area.
Andrew Counsell, head of Duchy College, said: “We have strong relationships with the local schools and are always happy to lend our expertise.”
