The Moonlight Memory Walk will see hundreds of ladies getting together for a girls’ night out with a difference in Falmouth on Saturday 10th September.

The evening has been organised by Children’s Hospice South West to celebrate precious memories with every step whilst raising funds for the new children’s hospice Little Harbour.

It is a ladies only event, but there are plenty of opportunities for men to get involved too as the charity is appealing for volunteers (men and women!) to help the evening run as smoothly as possible.

Emma Lloyd, Children’s Hospice South West Head of Fundraising (West), says: “With an event this size we need around eighty volunteers to help out with a variety of different roles on the night. From setting up to manning the registration desk, marshalling the route to handing out goody bags at the end of the walk, there are a range of different duties for volunteers.

“All of this combines to help make the night as memorable as possible for the ladies taking part. It is hugely rewarding to see how much they enjoy the evening, and of course how together – walkers and volunteers – you are helping our extremely worthy cause.

“If you’d like to offer your services to help out on the night in any way, then we’d love to hear from you.”
