A triangle of grass at the entrance to Falmouth Town Station car park remained cordoned off this lunchtime
An area of Falmouth remained taped off this lunchtime following allegations of a sexual assault during the early hours of this morning.
Police received a call at 2.53am from a woman claiming to have been sexually assaulted in the entrance to the Falmouth Town Station car park, known locally as The Dell.
A triangle of grass is still cordoned off with police tape, so that a forensic examination of the area can take place.
This is guarded by a police officer, to prevent anyone from crossing the tape.
A police spokesman said the woman would be given a medical examination and also questioned by police.
No arrests have taken place.
