People living in the villages of Ladock and Grampound Road, near Truro, now have renewable energy for their homes thanks to a green energy trial.
A £500,000 government grant has paid for solar panels and other energy devices to be installed in homes and other community buildings in the villages .
A number of residents now receive free electricity and hot water thanks to the funding from the government-run Low Carbon Communities Challenge.
