Christmas has come early for a team of campaigners fighting to improve facilities at Falmouth's Kimberley Park.
Janey Davis of the Let's Improve Kimberley Park group confirmed they had been awarded £49,999.
This money will be spent on making a “better play space” in the park, which currently has limited facilities.
Improvements will include toilets and more play equipment.
