A section of Falmouth town centre will be closed off to traffic today for emergency repairs to be carried out.
Town manager Richard Gates said the closure would begin in High Street from around 10am.
It was necessary to close the road so that “essential emergency electricity repairs” could be carried out.
He said the road would remain closed until the work had finished, which would hopefully be later tonight or tomorrow morning.
