A teenager from Redruth has been sent for trial at Truro Crown Court charged with causing the death of a pedestrian in an incident last year.
John Barry Ireland died after the incident on February 26 on the New Portreath Road, near Redruth.
David Ashley James, 18, of Higher Trevethan, Redruth, pleaded not guilty to causing death by driving a car without due care and attention.
James, who was not represented at Truro Magistrates' Court, said he had nothing further to say.
The next court date is on March 23 when a case management hearing will take place.
