The whole of the first floor appears to be filled with smoke and flames.
Firefighters, police and ambulances are at the scene, with sirens piercing the air.
Eye witnesses have taken to Twitter to describe “unbelievable” smoke, while another has written: “We are in Falmouth watching The Falmouth Beach Hotel go up in flames! Fire engines just arrived. Flames and smoke are immense.”
