Falmouth teenager guilty of theft and being drunk and disorderly

A FALMOUTH teenager arrested for drunken behaviour in Trelissick Road was caught stealing a bottle of wine from Tesco just two weeks later.

Alex Burgoyne, 18, of Webber Hill Flats, was warned by officers about his behaviour on May 2, but refused to calm down and was arrested.

Then, on May 17, he was seen on CCTV in Tesco at Falmouth stealing a bottle of wine worth £4.49.

He had previous convictions, it was said at Truro Magistrates’ Court where District Judge William Tate fined him £105 and £100 costs and surcharge after he pleaded guilty to theft and being drunk and disorderly.
