Cancer charity opens new Falmouth store
A Falmouth based cancer charity is celebrating opening a new store in the centre of town.
The shop, called Fancy Pants is the latest venture for Pants, which works to raise awareness of “pants area” cancers and to support people coping with the disease.
The shop is next door to Posh Pants in Webber Street, Falmouth and was opened on Saturday by Tito Lopes, the lead gynaecological cancer oncologist surgeon at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
Jeannette Preston, founder of Pants, said the new store was a great step forward for the charity.
“The Shop is another opportunity to raise funds for all the important work this organisation is trying to achieve to raise awareness of pants area cancers and to support those coping with the disease,” she said.
