TV stars to appear on Truro stage

Downton Abbey and Coronation Street stars are set to haunt the stage in Truro.

The Hall for Cornwall will see five days in August and September of the Charles Dickens adapted thriller, The Haunting.

Among the cast will be David Robb, renowned for his role as Dr. Clarkson in ITV’s Downton Abbey, as well as James Macdonald in Monarch of the Glen.

James Roache, who previously starred in Coronation Street, will also hit the stage.

The tale will follow the misfortune of two men, who find themselves amid of a series of mysterious events in a derelict mansion.

The adaptation of Ghost Stories, by Dickens, will run as 2.30pm matinee performances and evening productions from 7.30pm.

The shows will commence on Monday, August 28 through to Saturday, September 1.
