Camborne and Illogan men convicted of prison drug smuggling plot

A man from Camborne and a man from Ilogan have been found guilty of a plot to smuggle drugs into Channings Wood Prison in Devon.
Richard Wilson, 46, of Paynters Lane End, Illogan and Peter Love, 26, of East Charles Street, Camborne and were arrested after police officers carried out a check on their car.
Cocaine, cannabis, heroin and oxymetholone worth more than £1,000 was discovered.
Police also found a a map of the prison and a letter with information on how to get the drugs to prisoners.
Both were convicted of conspiring to supply drugs with Wilsonconvicted by a jury after denying the charge.
The pair will be sentenced at a later date.
