THE Olympics may be over, but for one Falmouth company, the memories of the games will linger on forever.

OTS Minibus and Coach Hire, based at Lamanva, were booked to supply three mini-coaches and eight drivers to assist with the transport in London.

A spokesman for the firm said: “Our clients booked the vehicles for 20 hours a day, meaning we had a early shift and late shift, with two other drivers covering rest days.

"We had two vehicles assigned to 'Heineken', one was with the Heineken Family and the other assigned to their clients, travelling between airports, hotels and venues.Heineken liveried our vehicles 'Celebrate London 2012' banners on both sides and the other vehicle was assigned to Proctor & Gamble this was used for athletes families travelling between their hotels and venues.

“One of our drivers was invited to watch the women’s boxing final, and afterward bought the Bronze medallist and her family back to their hotel. We all had an amazing experience and very proud to be part of the London 2012 Olympics, I wish to thank everyone of my drivers for their efforts, and professionalism.”
