A Falmouth almshouse is looking for a new secretary to help take minutes and set agendas.
Earle’s Retreat, in Trelawney Road, was founded in 1869 by native builder George Earle as “a lasting benefit to the aged and deserving inhabitants” of Falmouth.
Containing more than 40 self-contained flats, complete with living room, bedroom and bathroom, each resident looks after themselves but has the support of an on-site warden.
The new secretary will be required to take minutes at the trustees’ meetings every two months and prepare and send out agendas.
Anyone seeking more information or wishing to apply should contact Falmouth town councillor Maureen Davies on 01326 312508.
