A30 closed near Hayle after serious accident

The A30 Hayle Bypass is closed this afternoon after a serious accident.
The road is closed between the A3074 Nut Lane and the B3301 Carwin Rise.
A police spokesman said there had been a serious accident involving two vehicles at around 2.15pm.
The emergency services are all present at the scene, and the air ambulance has also attended.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area if at all possible.
