A trail of fires was set around Hayle last night as suspected arsonists targeted the town.
A crew from Camborne fire station was first called out just after 3.30am. Arriving in Fore Street they found two wheelie bins alight, which they immediately put out with a high pressure hosereel jet.
While at the scene another bin was found alight in the immediate vicinity.
Within a short space of time the crew was then sent to a paper recycling bin in the car park off Commercial Road, which was well alight.
A fire service spokesperson said: “All incidents were suspected arson. Devon and Cornwall Police were in attendance and will be making further enquiries.”
