Pensioner in Hayle death crash named

A pensioner who died in a crash on the Hayle bypass has been named by police.
Alma Rose Batty was on holiday from Epping in Essex when she was involved in a two-vehicle collision on the A30, to the west of Loggans Moor.
A Vauxhall Astra driven by the 81-year-old and a Ford Mondeo estate collided pm the westbound carriageway at 2.10pm last Friday.
Mrs Batty was pronounced dead at the scene while her 80-year-old passenger was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.
