An Illogan Highway man has pleaded not guilty to charges of harassment at a Redruth hair salon.
Lawrence Scrivens, age 36, from Grey Havens, Barncoose Terrace, is charged with harassment without violence after he attended the Curl Up and Dye hair salon on Agar Road on May 29.
Truro Magistrates Court heard that Scrivens asked for a massage service at the salon, and then on the same day made two telephone calls to the salon during which sexual, violent and threatening language was used.
In a separate case Scrivens was charged with using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour causing alarm and distress to Rebecca Toy after an incident on June 13 in Redruth.
Scrivens plead not guilty to both charges and was bailed to return to court on October 17 and November 5, for two separate trial hearings.
