Two fire appliances from Camborne Fire Station were called out to reports of a caravan on fire on Monday.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereels to extinguish the fire in a static caravan by 10.40hrs.
Arson is suspected and Devon & Cornwall Police were informed.
Anyone with information on fires being deliberately started are advised to anonymously call Crimestoppers free on 0800 555 111 or contact Devon & Cornwall Police on 101 with information.
A fire service spokesman said: "Arson puts both the public and firefighters at unnecessary risk. It ties up resources that could be in demand for other more serious incidents. A lot of Cornwall is covered by on-call firefighters so there is also a significant cost to each incident.
