Insight into work of Falmouth Harbour Commissioners (From Falmouth Packet)

Insight into work of Falmouth Harbour Commissioners
12:00pm Thursday 13th September 2012 in News
AN INSIGHT into the work of the Falmouth Harbour Commissioners will be on offer later this month.
The company’s annual report 2011 will be available to view for the first time at the annual public meeting on Tuesday, September 25.
The meeting will be held at 7pm in the Regatta Suite at the St Michael’s Hotel in Falmouth.
Last year more than 20 people attended the public meeting to hear feedback on the past year and plans for the year ahead. The report and meeting will give an overview of FHC’s financial accounts, summary of the Port of Falmouth Masterplan and an update on projects FHC has been working on with Falmouth Marine School. It will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
The meeting will be led by FHC chairman, David Ellis, and will include a presentation from FHC Harbour master and chief executive, captain Mark Sansom. Mr Ellis said: “This is a good opportunity for members of the public to come along and find out what we do, meet the Commissioners and ask any questions of us.”
Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting at the St Michael’s Hotel, Gyllyngvase Beach, Seafront, Falmouth, Cornwall, TR11 4NB. Doors open at 6.30pm and the meeting begins at 7pm. Copies of the report are available from www.falmouth|port.co.uk after the public meeting.
