Falmouth was awash with  people clutching heirlooms and items rummaged  from dusty attics this morning as the Antiques Roadshow rolled into town.

Fronted by former newsreader Fiona Bruce, the BBC show saw hundreds descend on Event Square with painting, jewelery, and a myriad of other strange rare objects.

After lining up in the September sun, the show's experts were on hand to give owners a clue about their history, and value.
