Bickland Water road is one of the most dangerous roads in Falmouth, this is where cllr Varney and co want to build more houses, despite the fact that this road cannot carry the traffic we have now at rushour.
Has anyone been there when the children are going and coming from school. it's horrendous, and children from the comprehensive school walking along there are in serious danger of being run over , card are doing a u-turn in the middle of the road and parking on the bend of the road.

To build houses along this road is so stupid , we have no infrastructure to carry the traffic out of Falmouth this road is no more than a two lane road.

There are also cyclists and horse riders using it.

Someone needs to apply some commonsense regarding this road. before they start adding to the chaos of building more houses which will add to the congestion.

The silly roundabout provided by Wainhomes at the other end makes no difference whatsoever...

hear hear Poldark - the 40mph restriction is also not adhered to by a lot of drivers - just today a BMW driver was on my bumper trying to make me go faster - I was dead on 40. Building homes or any more factory units along there were be plain stupid. There have already been numerous accidents on that road, some fatal - we don't need any more buildings bringing more cars and people to the area - are you listening Mr Varney?!!!

Well said Poldark, this road is a nightmare and i believe there is a disaster waiting to happen. Also when all the school children walk along this road you realise that not only is the road dangerous but also the pavement isnt fit for purpose either; for a large section there is no defined kerb, just a bit of a grassy area before you get to a thin strip of tarmac that all these school children are supposed to walk along. I would suggest that as an absolute minimum this is looked at before anyone considers further developement along this hazzardous road.
