Penzance cooker blaze calls for breathing equipment

Two firefighters were forced to don air packs as they tackled a cooker fire in Penzance this weekend.

The fire, in a house in Newlyn, was reported to Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service just after 2pm on Sunday and a carbon dioxide extinguisher was used to douse the flames.

No injuries were reported.
