Truro men's club invitation to new members

City of Truro Round Table is opening its doors to new members as the dust settles on the 'Great British Summer.'

With the shorter nights drawing nearer, men across the Truro will be putting away their barbeques and golf clubs, which is why the organisation is firing up an early recruitment drive to give locals a new way to spend their evenings.

To make it easier for men to find out more about getting involved with their local table, the organisation has released a new dedicated recruitment e-mail contact to help with the process, join@roundtable.org.uk .

Jason Thomson, from Round Table, said: “With children back at school and adults returning to work after taking time off for holidays, men typically look for new social activities as the dark evenings draw in, scuppering any outdoor after work plans.”

As well as personal development skills such as speech writing and public speaking, City of Truro Round Table offers a wide range of social activities, opportunities for local men to network and the chance for members to give something back to their local area by organising community events.

Jason added: “Round Table is all about providing a fun and relaxed environment where men from all walks of life can socialise and get involved in all kinds of team activities and trips. It's great that so many people have joined Round Table this year.

“We're welcoming anyone who's interested in getting involved to go along to their local Table and see what it's all about. The more, the merrier.”
