Family Fun Day at Trescobeas play park
Kids, and their parents, were treated to a sunny afternoon of bike races, bouncy castles and fabulous facepaint at a family fun day held at Trescobeas Play Park on Saturday.
Organised by the Lambs Lane and Ashfield Members Association (LLAMA) the event had a BMX and bike racing competition as well as more traditional fun such as hook-a-duck and a raffle.
There was also plenty of food on offer, with a barbecue, and a cake and refreshment stall groaing with tasty treats David Wills, vice chair of LLMA said the event was certainly busier than last year, thanks to the stunning September sunshine. He added it was wonderful to see so many people out having a good time.
Any funds raised during the event will go towards the up-keep of the play area.
