SOCIAL media novices can take advantage of an introduction to Facebook and Twitter at a workshop held by Cornwall Council in Helston this week.
The “Social Media Surgery”, at Helston Library on Friday, will run from 12pm to 2pm.
Cornwall councillor for Helston South and Porthleven, Andrew Wallis, a regular blogger and Twitter user, will be on hand at the event to offer help and advice.
He said: “Social media can be a powerful tool and is becoming an everyday part of life.
“It is also a good way to keep people and groups informed and I know I can get an important message out very quickly via social media.”
