Man arrested following Fraddon scratch cards armed robbery

A man has been arrested following the suspected armed robbery at a Fraddon petrol station on Monday night.

The arrest in Plymouth following the robbery of the Shell garage just after 10pm.

Armed police and a police helicopter were involved in the search on Monday evening.

No-one was injured in the raid, which saw the culprit make off with lottery scratch cards.

A police spokesman said the suspect was arrested in Plymouth and will be questioned by Newquay police officers.
