A severe weather warning has been issued for the whole of Cornwall from today through to Wednesday.
The warning, issued by the Met Office, says "torrential downpours" could blight the region today, followed by "further rain or showers, heavy and persistent in places" on Tuesday.
Localised flooding has been predicted for Wednesday when "heavy and prolonged showers, accompanied by gusty winds" are forecast.
The heavy rain and strong winds could cause disruption, the Met Office warns, and people should be prepared for an increased risk of surface water and river flooding during this period.
