Chemist manager's theft case adjourned

The former manager of a Mullion chemists, accused of stealing thousands of pounds from the business, appeared in court last week.

Kevin Symonds, now of Bospolvan Road in St Columb Major, is charged with £4,700 worth of theft from the Mullion branch of Boots.

The 49-year-old had worked for the company for more than 30 years but has now lost his job.

The case was adjourned for committal to crown court on November 8.
