Coffee and cakes were served as pupils from a Truro primary school helped bring the local community together and raise more than £135 for charity last Friday (September 28).
Dressed in pink and green, the children from Treyew Primary School joined together with the Malabar area of the city to take part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The youngsters enjoyed sweet treats at a coffee morning held at the Malabar Community and Children's Centre and learnt to understand the importance of giving and thinking of others.
In total the coffee event raised £135.35 for the cancer charity.
