Hundreds of entries for 30th Cury show
2:00pm Saturday 13th October 2012 in News
Cury Village Hall was buzzing on Saturday when exhibitors and visitors flocked to the 30th annual Show. With over 700 entries, the anniversary event was one of the best shows in recent years.
Show secretary since the first show in 1983, Brenda Lawrance, said she was thrilled to see so many entries and people in the hall and thanked the children of Garras and Cury Schools for all their entries as well as a few from Mullion Primary and Comprehensive.
She added that this was encouraging as these children would be the future of shows to come.
Prizes were presented by Tiffany Truscott of BBC Radio Cornwall.
