Two ice cream sellers vie for Pendennis Point patch

TWO ice cream sellers who have applied for the one remaining pitch available at Pendennis Point in Falmouth will vie for the spot at Falmouth Town Council on Monday.

John Caulkin of Corky's Ice Cream and Daniel King of King's Ice Cream will both address the council’s planning committee after they submitted their applications on the same day in August.

Councillors at the town council's planning committee said they could not decide who should have the plot without speaking to both men. The meeting will take place on Monday evening at 5.30pm at the municipal buildings on The Moor.

How on earth are they going to pick one over the other? dont suppose it would be practical to share the pitch two weeks each month or something.
