Call to take down Falmouth Rugby Club advertising boards

ADVERTISING boards erected at Falmouth Rugby Club’s ground on Dracaena Avenue should be removed and replaced in a more tasteful fashion say town planners.
The boards facing Penmere Hill, have been put up with two stacks of three adverts towering over the road.
At a meeting of the council’s planning committee on Monday, chairman Diana Merrett said: “I would rather see the signs going along in a row of six rather than having these high-rise adverts. I propose they are taken down and put back up to form a protective barrier across the wall.”
Councillors agreed unanimously.
