The ninth annual Cornwall Business Fair, brought to you by the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, takes place on Wednesday, May 17, at the Eden Project.

Entrance to the fair is free and it will be open from 10am until 4pm, allowing plenty of time to visit and connect with over 100 exhibitors across all business sectors. The day also boasts no fewer than three informative and social networking opportunities.

Breakfast’s key note speaker is Kate Kennally, CEO of Cornwall Council. At lunch the Cornwall Plan for Business 2017/18 will be launched and Adam Marshall, director general of the British Chambers of Commerce, will be providing valuable insights about today’s fast-changing business environment. Last but not least, at 4pm visitors will be able to relax and enjoy a free pasty and pint at the closing event while being entertained by Johnny Cowling.

Kim Conchie, chief executive of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, said: "Making connections and doing business with companies all over the Duchy is the key reason you should attend this can’t-miss event which has become the centrepiece of Cornwall Business Week."

In addition to the 100 plus stands that will be spread around Eden’s core building, this year’s expo will boast plenty of networking areas, a brand new Tech Zone with lightning stage that will allow for businesses to do an elevator style pitch, a Business Support Zone, a Twitter wall to post your comments on throughout the day and visitors will be encouraged to embrace innovation and connect with one another throughout the day on the Whova networking app.
