Merchants Manor Hotel and Spa in Falmouth has unveiled plans to introduce luxury living spaces to its portfolio. Working in collaboration with the team from Bert & May, the plans are to create eco-friendly holiday homes with a difference.

The bespoke design of the Bert & May spaces will co-exist amidst the backdrop of the Edwardian Manor. The living spaces will boast two double bedrooms, private bathrooms, reclaimed timbers, handmade encaustic tiles designed right here in the UK.

With trademark factory style full height opening doors, custom fitted kitchens, underfloor heating throughout, leading onto private terraces with secluded hot tubs all set against the backdrop of the award winning sub-tropical gardens, giving guests the chance to soak in their surroundings.

Sioned Parry-Rudlin, co-owner of Merchants Manor, which is part of Preferred of Hotel and Resorts group, said: “We are delighted to be able to announce our plans for the offering at Merchants Manor to grow and be enhanced yet again. With our highly acclaimed Rastella Restaurant, The Linen Rooms Spa and our extensive wellness facilities this will be the icing on the cake and create a destination focused on creating truly memorable moments.

"There will be the creation of full time jobs opportunities within the community and by working with Bert & May it will also mean works on site will be kept to an absolute minimum seeing the spaces themselves being installed in a matter of days."
