Falmouth Packet: Easter eggs from space at beach UFO Easter eggs from space at beach UFO

There’ll be Easter eggs from space on Easter Monday, at Sandsifter at Gwithian.

More than 100 Easter eggs will be hidden inside the spaceship for children to seek out and enjoy.

The UFO at Sandsifter is a month-long installation by the Aurora Project and serves as a themed-function venue for entertainments.

There are two Easter egg hunts on April 1.

The first is for children aged 7, and under and takes place at 11am. The second is for children aged eight to 12, and takes place at 11.30am.

In the evening, in the UFO, there is a children’s sci-fi film night showing the Disney classic Flight of the Navigator. The film show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3.50 per child, £5 per adult and £15 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).

On Tuesday, April 2, there is another children’s sci-fi film night, this time screening the Steven Spielberg alien adventure ET.

Ten per cent of all ticket money on film nights will be donated to help children in Sierra Leone.

Gillian Zella Martin 09 says...

They should install a permenant UFO in the car-park in Falmouth, that would bring people into the town to shop and maybe no one would worry about paying for parking then, there is plenty of room in the quarry car-park and they could even increase the car-park charges to cover the lost revenue of the space a UFO takes up.
