Stithians parish council to go ahead with new cemetery land purchase
The clerk of Stithians Parish Council has instructed the council's solicitors to proceed with the purchase of land for new cemetery provision.
The council has also drawn up a draft memorandum of understanding with Stithians Cricket Club shared use and maintenance of access from the highway at Haverigg to the council cemetery, the club, and adjacent farmland, although this may be subject to further revision.
