Camborne Redruth Community Hospital is opening its doors to the public for its annual summer fete, on Saturday, July 26.

The event from 2pm to 4.30pm has been organised with the support of the Guild of Friends, and the fete will be opened by the mayor of Redruth, Judy Davidson MBE.

Local businesses have helped out the hospital, with raffle prizes donated by Gwel an Mor; The Penventon Park Hotel; Merlin Cinemas; Powell's Garage; Cornwall Treasure Park; Lillie Bros; Trevaskis Farm and Total Produce.

The fete will include a fun dog show, a performance by the Hotch Potch Theatre Group, a lolly hunt for children, guess the pasty weight - donated by Baker Tom, a tombola and raffle as well as much more entertainmentfor the whole family.

There will also be wide range of food and refreshments to enjoy with support from the Royal Volunteer Service and The Rotary Club will be providing assistance with the free parking onsite.

All proceeds raised going towards supporting patients and staff.
