A motorcyclist from Redruth has died after a collision on the A39 on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle on the A39, Allen Valley near Camelford at 10.45am.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 58 year old male from the Redruth area, was pronounced deceased at the scene, his next of kin have been informed.
The A39, Allen Valley was closed for over eight hours while enquiries were conducted at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting log number 346 of October 5, 2014.
The road was reopned at 7.50pm.
